MAC OSX: Delete Finder preferences using ‘Terminal’ App

Step 1:
Open Terminal, located in the Applications > Utilities folder.

Step 2:
Delete the primary Finder preferences file by typing following command at terminal:

$  rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Press Return.
Now Restart your Computer.
